  • 1999   Steve Wariner performs “Holes in the Floor of Heaven” at a vigil in Nashville’s Centennial Park in memory of the victims of the tragedy at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo.

  • 1999   Though in no way an influence on Eric Harris and Dylan Kleibold, the gunman in Littleton Colo. shooting, Marilyn Manson issues a statement: “I have been asked to comment by numerous news organizations on the Colorado school tragedy. It’s tragic and disgusting anytime young people’s lives are taken in an act of senseless violence. My condolences go out to the students and their families.”
